Initial session - $180
55--to-60-minute session - $160
Insurance
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, sessions may be covered in-part or in-full. Please contact the member services phone number on the back of your insurance card for a full explanation of your specific plan benefits and what your out-of-pocket costs will be.
I am an In-Network provider for Anthem, Anthem HealthKeepers, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Optum/United Healthcare, and Optima/Sentara. For other insurance companies, I am considered to be an “Out-of-Network Provider.” However, I can provide you with a SuperBill each month for you to collect possible reimbursement benefits. Please contact your insurance provider to verify how your plan may compensate you for psychotherapy services.
Payment
Payments for all copay, co-insurance, deductibles, or out-of-pocket costs always will be collected on the day of your appointment. Credit cards, Health Savings Account, or Flexible Spending Account cards can be kept on file for ease of payment.
Late Cancellations and No-Show Policy
I require a 24-hour notice if you are unable to keep your appointment for any reason. You will be responsible for a fee of $125 if cancellation is not received at least 24 hours in advance or you do not show for your scheduled appointment. This charge is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and held exclusively for you. (*Please note that your insurance company will not cover a late cancellation/missed session fee.)
